Amaranto Hostel - Panajachel

The staff, including the owner, were super friendly and helpful. This place is conveniently located near everything you need. Plus, it's just a short stroll away from the lake, Guatemala, and a beautiful garden to relax in 🌿.

Would recommend it. The location is peaceful and convenient, restaurants and bars were a short walk to the hotel. As I remember, there were a huge variety of restaurants to eat, like Deli Llama de Fuego that was only 5 minutes' walk away. The room is comfy, and the staff is exceptionally nice! A bathroom is equipped with a tub.

I had a wonderful stay for 1 night. the hotel was a decent base for exploring Panajachel. the staff were really kind and wonderful, giving awesome suggestions. the room was cozy and well taken care of. the breakfast offered a huge variety of appetizing meals. the property was close to the garden and Panajachel.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was cozy with all the necessary amenities including a bathroom with a tub.

I appreciated my one-night stay here. the hotel was a great base in a lovely area near the lake and Guatemala. the staff was exceptional and everything was perfect. the location was fantastic, with Lake Atitlan just a short walk away.

Wifi in room wasn't reliable.

Everything is spotless, the decor is mind-blowing, with an awesome pool and a chill-out spot outside. The shower has hot water and the staff is super kind. Highly recommend! Great prices and the best hostel we've been to in Guatemala. The location is perfect, close to transport, and walkable to town. The pool is nice and the restaurant/garden area has a super nice ambiance. The food is delicious, especially the pizza. The staff is helpful and the location is great for exploring the city. This hidden gem offers a quiet stay away from the road but still close to bars and restaurants. The food on-site is amazing, especially the wood-fired pizza. We loved every bit of our stay here and highly recommend it!

The location is great for exploring the city on foot and it is close to bars, clubs, and restaurants. The rooms are quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food, including wood-fired pizza, and the staff are helpful and accommodating.

The rooms could use some touch-ups and there is a constant annoying sound from the water pump.

I recently stayed at Casa Amaranto for a short getaway. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic. The outdoor spaces were lovely, providing a great spot to relax. They have a wide variety of drinks available, which was a nice touch. The pool was a nice addition, and the restaurant/garden area had a wonderful ambiance. The food in their restaurant was delicious, especially the wood-fired pizza. The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot.
